Did you know that a high sodium diet can also contribute to osteoporosis? Your body excretes more calcium when you consume too much sodium. Limited calcium in the bloodstream, will force your body to pull calcium directly from your bones! This causes bones to deplete gradually, become porous, and fragile. Moderation is the key!
