Taking the kids to the pool? Skip the snack bar, which is stocked with candy, soda, nachos and other diet-dreadful items. Instead, pack a cooler with water bottles, fresh summer fruits, like plums or peaches, and sandwiches made with turkey or lean roast beef, tomatoes and mustard. For low-fat snacks, bring along baby carrots with low-fat hummus.
